Transformation is unavoidable and needed by the English language environment as it comes together with the new era in this 21st century. Fourth Industrial Revolution challenges the teacher and the learners of English to adapt fast in order to be able to face the high wave of shifting from the two sides of localized and globalized to one side called “glocalized”. Teacher as the lifelong learner should shape the English teaching and learning process through the use of digital literacy, critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative abilities, autonomy, intercultural competence, and governmental a civic literacy. However, for the sustainability of the approach innovated, the transformation should come from both the policy and action.
